The video and audio are quite acceptable, given their 1970s vintage. Böhm and Abbado are at home in this repertoire, and the Wiener Philharmoniker in excellent form, notwithstanding a few strange noises coming from the horns.

For the first time in cinema, a unique symphonic experience on the big screen. As part of the series of concerts performed by the Orchestre symphonique de Montréal, under the direction of conductor Dina Gilbert and offered to more than 70,000 delighted spectators, the recording of this production allows you to experience or relive an extraordinary sensory moment. The amalgamation of tableaux vivants, projections and the immensity of the symphony allows an incursion into the vibrant and colorful universe of the legendary group Harmonium in order to rediscover all its beauty. Though something of an idol amongst his female audience he has a melancholic awareness of the slow disappearance of that audience and of his advancing years. She seems distant and apparently otherwise involved but soon shows quiet signs of reciprocating his interest.

Darta, a man from an impoverished family, is rejected by the wealthy parents of the woman he loves. Desperate, he strikes a bargain with the Monkey King, performing a dark ritual to gain wealth. However, in doing so, he accidentally curses his wife and child to a life of suffering. Rooted in Indonesian mysticism, this universal narrative explores the insatiable hunger to become something one is not and the boundaries one is willing to cross to achieve it.
