Metamorphosis is a story of an irreversible change seen through the eyes of one of Catalunias many invisible citizens: Laia. From her individual experiences, we will follow the process of Barcelona In Common from the public presentation as Guanyem Barcelona in June 2014, to the victory in the municipal elections of May 2015 that lead Ada Colau to be the first female mayor of Barcelona. This documentary wants to portray the will of this group of citizens to articulate a space of confluence of social movements, neighborhood and political actors, aiming to the conquest of municipal power.

Despite its ad campaign roots, Richter's touch is not absent; The surviving version, aimed at a "bourgeois" Swiss public, presents decluttered, functional architecture and decor as superior to the traditional and luxurious "ancient" ways of living.

For centuries, archaeologists have been trying to understand the Aztec empire and reveal the truth about their origins. In the center of Equator Province, Democratic Republic of the Congo, the Ilima community remains one of the most isolated in the world. They have coexisted with endangered wildlife in their surrounding forest for generations, but as the pace of development has increased, this fragile ecosystem has suffered. They partnered with the African Wildlife Foundation and our architecture firm, MASS Design Group, in 2012 to create a new conservation focused primary school and community center. This film documents our collective building process - one aimed at leveraging local craft and ecological knowledge towards education, preservation, and beauty.

The Cabanon by Le Corbusier(en)

Minimalist documentary by Rax Rinnekangas about the wooden cottage "La Cabanon" designed and built in 1952 by Swiss architect and furniture designer Le Corbusier - a refuge intended for a single person with a living space of only 3.66 x 3.66 meters. The construction followed Corbusier's maxim that architecture must adapt to the human body and not vice versa.
