Overview
In the desolate outreaches of Bristol Bay, Alaska, the most competitive fishing season on Earth takes place throughout four short weeks. 1,800 captains and their crews draw the battle lines to help save Alaska's ecosystem by reeling in a massive sockeye salmon payday. With potential fortune swimming just below the surface, five captains prepare to battle the unforgiving bay, the battering ram of boats jockeying for position and the law, which strictly monitors the season with recon choppers and police squads. On the bay, fishing for the nearly 44 million salmon is necessary for the environment, and arm of the law is long, tempers are short and every single decision is the difference between drawing a huge income and settling for pennies.

The Class is aimed at children in their younger teens and addresses issues and dilemmas that are relevant to them but that parents or other adults usually do not think are important. It's about small and big things that create recognition with topics that range from how the friendship is put to the test when two friends fall in love with the same girl to how it feels not to be seen. The Class addresses the challenges and problems that children face in everyday life and are largely taken from the reality of high school students, the one they do not share with adults.

Van-Pires is a computer animated children's television series that originally aired in the USA between 1997 and 1998 in syndication mostly on Fox and WB affiliates. It was produced by Abrahams/Gentile, with CGI animation being produced under MSH. The series was rated #1 in its time slot during several broadcasts in various United States and International markets. Van-Pires was the first children's CGI-animated television series to be produced using the 3D modeling and animation software 3D Studio MAX. It was only the third CGI-animated television series of its kind to use 3D animation in every episode, and ultimately received a Sci-Fi Award. Van-Pires also had portions of its soundtrack written and performed by John Entwistle of the band The Who and Steve Luongo Entwistle's long-time friend, producer and drummer in The John Entwistle Band. A range of other talented voices and animators were involved in production of the series. The Van-Pires synopsis and its stories center on a group of human teenagers who protect and defend the world from evil anthropomorphized junkyard vans and vehicles known as the "Van-Pires" by transforming into robotic anthropomorphized cars, calling themselves the "Motor-Vators".
