Their firstborn is a playboy who has been living in the United States and Camila is a spoiled young woman who spends her days spending money and on her phone. The family enjoys a lavish lifestyle, but António doesn’t go without a driver and armed security since his brother Fausto was murdered, leaving his son Miguel under the care of his aunt and uncle. Helena’s hatred for the Rocha family has grown as much as the cousins Tomás and Miguel's love for Laura. So, without realizing, the nurse sees herself in the middle of a love triangle that will undermine the harmony between the Fontes Morais and Rocha families. Still, Verónica, who is totally in love with Tomás, and Helena will resort to any means necessary in order to get rid of Laura.

Due to his arrogant attitude and personality, he comes into conflict with those around him. A new doctor tries to introduce the latest medical device for surgery, which doesn't need a surgeon's hand. Seishiro Tokai is skeptical of the device. He faces the university hospital administration and reveals corruption and hidden past behind the medical device.

Gridlock is an Irish television game show, hosted by Derek Mooney, that premiered on RTÉ on September 14, 1998. Gridlock replaced the long-running series Blackboard Jungle, which was hosted by Ray D'Arcy. The show lasted only one season. There were two teams of two people, each team representing a secondary school. One player on each team would answer general knowledge questions, while the other would try to achieve "gridlock" on a puzzle diagram. Due to the complex nature of the puzzle, viewers, the studio audience, and sometimes even contestants, struggled to follow the show. As a result of this, ratings dwindled and Gridlock was canceled after just one series. Gridlock was once again the topic of the Irish nation in 2013. Former contestant and celebrity doctor, Niall Breen, made an appearance on rival quiz show, Countdown, on Channel 4 where he made the controversial claim that Gridlock should have been given at least one more season. Brendan Cole, who was appearing as a guest on the show, shared Breen's opinion. RTE released a statement denouncing Breen's comments as 'out of hand' and 'wholly inappropriate' and claimed any rumours about a new series of Gridlock were incorrect.

Yau Tat and Yip Fai Ting became high school friends due to a cycling competition, but lost contact with each other after Yip Fai Ting had to return to Taiwan for family reasons. It causes a grudge between Yau Tat and Yip Fai Ting. Fortunately, the secretary Wu Sam Lam is very considerate and encouraging towards Yau Tat. His mother, Yau Wing Ci wants to make them a couple, but Yau Tat does not want to start a relationship because of his family burdens. This is until he meets Yeung Gwong, who happens to be Yip Fai Ting's childhood friend and a fellow accountant. However, Yau Tat is hesitant to move forward because of Yip Fai Ting's feelings for Yeung Gwong. In addition, dealing with the office politics on a daily basis makes them lose sight of their goals in life. Finally, Yau Tat and Yip Fai Ting decide to put aside everything and return to the cycling track to rediscover their fighting spirit and friendship.
