The concert was captured on the tenth and final night of the 25th Meltdown Festival (curated by Robert Smith) at London’s Royal Festival Hall in June 2018. In need of a place to stay, he ends up renting a room in his neighbors property, knowing that the owner TRINA (Sarah Labahti) is attracted to him. He finds her in a lonely and vulnerable state that one night, an intimate encounter becomes inevitable. Ram is however surprised when the woman becomes evasive after being intimate with her. He finds her enigmatic withdrawal even more mysterious as Trina continues to be a doting presence from a distance.

All good things come to an end, and so did the disc-jockey-driven format that WHFS pioneered and made successful, but its legacy lives on. The station’s DJs relate its history with passion in this film that captures the tenor of an era, abetted by reminiscences of performers including Emmylou Harris, Taj Mahal, Jesse Colin Young, and others whose music found its way to ears and minds eager for something more than the same old Top 40 programming.
