After they are destroyed, the Sontarans take their opportunity and follow them in their invasion until they are destroyed by the Doctor.

GCW Fight Club 2022 Night 2(en)

Luckily for the universe, Skagra's attempt to force the information out of Professor Chronotis coincides with a visit by the professor's old friend, the Doctor. (Filming for this story was never finished, and in this version the story is completed via on-camera narration.)
