Stiles was down on his luck working as a telemarketer in Toronto when, one day, he threw out his pre-written script and began speaking to customers in curious character voices inspired by his upbringing in Nova Scotia. That month, Stiles made the most sales of any employee and earned a free DVD player for his efforts. In the following years, Stiles threw caution to the wind, venturing out to local open mic nights — where he developed a substantial cult following — and later publishing a pair of books with Insomniac press.

Além de sua banda oficial (o guitarrista Martin, o baixista Joe e o baterista Duda), o show teve participação do tecladista Brunno Cunha (Caixa Preta) e dois convidados especiais: Hique Gomez, do grupo “Tangos e Tragédias”, toca violino em “Água Contida”, inspirada numa ária de Carmen, de Bizet; Fábio, da banda Cascadura, canta com Pitty “Senhor das Moscas”, classico da banda Cascadura, heróis do rock da Bahia. Pitty aproveitou para registar sua versao de “Se Você Pensa” (Roberto Carlos/Erasmo Carlos) e para lançar a inédita “Comum de Dois”. A música, de autoria de Pitty, Martin, Joe e Duda Machado, surgiu durante os ensaios para o show. “Comum de Dois” é bem dançante e de melodias épicas.
