Taped at the Theater at Madison Square Garden shortly after the 2018 Grammys and broadcast on CBS this week, the evening saw Elton John and husband David Furnish seated front row for a tribute to the works of Elton John and Bernie Taupin from Ed Sheeran, Kesha, Sam Smith, Shawn Mendes & SZA, Little Big Town and more. The whole thing ended with a stellar performance from the man himself, with the majority of his all-star guests joining him for a rollicking "I'm Still Standing."

Broadway star Jimmy Canfield stars in a patriotic show on the great white way during WWI. He plays the heroic soldier, but he is doesn't want to join the Army. To evade some troubles with fellow actress Berenice, he acts like joining the forces going over there, but that turns out to be real. In France he falls in love with a French barmaid and is arrested as spy. He escapes from prison, only to end in the uniform of a German officer leading "his" soldiers in an Allied trap. But being escaped from prison and wearing the enemy's uniform isn't that healthy in wartime.

Svea hund, complete title Svea Hund på Göta Lejon (Svea Dog at Göta Lejon), was a Swedish variety show produced by AB Svenska Ord. It was written by Hans Alfredsson and Tage Danielsson, commonly known as Hasseåtage and directed by Tage. The show premièred on 15 February (although it had a sneak première on 9 February) 1976 on the theater Göta Lejon in Stockholm. It was the last of the three "Dog-revues"; the first was Gröna hund (Green Dog) the second being Gula Hund (Yellow Dog). Both Hasse and Tage starred in various roles. Other cast members were Gösta Ekman, Monica Zetterlund, Lena Nyman, and Tommy Körberg. The song quartet EBBA (Lena Eriksson, Lars Bagge, Kersint Bagge and Bo Andersson) and Gunnar Svenssons Bandhundband.

You are, of course, invited when TV 2 ZULU celebrates the Danish comedy industry with a huge party at the Opera House.
