The Takarazuka Revue has staged various versions of The Rose of Versailles over the years. In this version that focuses on Fersen, we present the splendid world of The Rose of Versailles in a glorious celebration of its fiftieth anniversary.

Lupin III: Search for the Queen's Necklace!(ja)

Musical by the Takarazuka Revue. In modern day France, an exhibition is being held at the Palace of Versailles of the "Necklace of Marie Antoinette". The necklace had been used in a fraud case that marked a chapter in French history and later went missing. It has been reproduced using real diamonds. Fujiko has sneaked into Versailles, as has the gang of Lupin, Goemon, and Jigen - all with the intention of getting their hands on the necklace, which is valued at over 3 billion yen in today's money. But they bump into Inspector Zenigata. Lupin is the one who manages to foil Zenigata and grab the necklace. Yet the instant he lays hands on it, everyone is enveloped in a mysterious light. When they regain consciousness, they notice they have gone through a time slip to 1785, before the French Revolution when Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette were around.

This has a theme of "giving a light like that of the stars," since it is for Star Troupe, which gives the sparkle of all the stars in the heavens to people's hearts. This is a work which will allow the stars of Star Troupe to showcase their energetic singing voices and dance overflowing with liveliness.

Eitoku Academy is a high school that caters to rich, high-society families. Among the students who attend there are four young men who have the adulation of the entire school, the "Flower 4" (F4). There is spoiled Doumyouji Tsukasa, cool and mysterious Hanazawa Rui, playboy Nishikado Soujirou, and "madam killer" Mimasaka Akira. If these four show any signs of disliking someone, a red tag is put on the locker of that student and they become a target of bullying for the entire school. Makino Tsukushi is from a middle-class family, attending because her parents asked her to. Her goal is to keep her head down until she can graduate, but her plans are soon made impossible as she is thrown into the world of the F4. Doumyouji falls for Tsukushi for her fierce independence and willingness to stand up to him, but Tsukushi likes the quiet Hanazawa Rui....
