The series follows the young screenwriter Emma Green (Joy Rieger), who created the successful fantasy series "The Warrior," centered at the main character Thomas Black, played by Yotam Lapid (Ran Danker). The series has wanted to be successful throughout the country for six seasons, until suddenly Yotam, the lead actor, informs the production that he has received a desirable role in an American series and has been forced to leave the country and is forced to kill Yotam. The Film Crew was a comedic team similar to Mystery Science Theater 3000 and was released in 2007. It comprised former MST3K cast members Michael J. Nelson, Bill Corbett, and Kevin Murphy. The Film Crew, stuck in the confines of their work basement, lay down commentary tracks to whatever obscure movie dished to them by their boss, Bob Honcho. As part of their job, each of the three wears a matching "working-class" uniform and an unwieldy headset while riffing. Each release contained a short "Lunch Break" sketch, in which they would act out a humorous sketch. On October 19, 2006, it was announced that The Film Crew would be providing commentary tracks for a series of B-movies. To promote their announcement, the Crew offered a poll on their website asking viewers to sample clips of each contender and choose which they would prefer to see released first out of the four announced.

P.O.W. was a television series consisting of 6 episodes, broadcast on ITV in 2003. The series starred James D'Arcy and Joe Absolom. The drama series is based on true stories, set in Germany in the year 1940 and follows the character of Jim Caddon as he is captured after his plane crashes during a bombing raid over Normandy. In contrast to previous entries in the World War Two prison escape genre such as The Colditz Story, it concentrated on escape attempts by other ranks rather than officers. The series was filmed in Lithuania and first broadcast on television on 10 October 2003. A second series has not been commissioned, though ITV followed it with several other World War Two dramas including Colditz and Island at War. The title "P.O.W." stands for "prisoner of war".

Seito Shokun! is a Japanese manga written and illustrated by Yoko Shoji. It is serialized in Kodansha's Shōjo Friend from 1977 to 1984. The individual chapters were published into 24 tankōbon by Kodansha between February 1978 and June 1985. Seito Shokun! received the won the second Kodansha Manga Award in 1978 for the shōjo category. Kodansha made a one-shot spin-off of the series in September, 1983 and re-released the manga into 12 kanzenban volumes between December 12, 1995 and March 12, 1996. The sequel to the manga, Seito Shokun! Kyoshi-hen had its first tankōbon published on April 13, 2004. The manga was adapted into an original video animation by Ashi Productions. Directed by Mitsuo Kusakabe, it was broadcast on Fuji TV on February 23, 1986. The manga was adapted into a Japanese television drama of the same name. Directed by Karaki Marehiro and Tamura Naoki, the drama's 10 episodes was broadcast on TV Asahi between April 20, 2007 and June 22, 2007.
