Only An Excuse? is an annual Scottish football comedy sketch show that airs each Hogmanay. Starring actor and comedian Jonathan Watson, the show features impressions of some of Scottish football's great characters such as Denis Law, Tommy Burns, Barry Ferguson, Sir Alex Ferguson, Frank McAvennie, Walter Smith and Graeme Souness, as well as caricatures of the "typical" Celtic and Rangers fan.

Here Come the Seventies was a Canadian documentary television series seen nationally on CTV from 1970 to 1973 normally on Thursday nights at 9:30. The programs were produced by Philip S. Hobel and Douglas J. Leiterman, who previously produced The Fabulous Sixties series for CTV. "Communications - The Wired World" was the first episode to air, on 17 September 1970. Toronto electronic music group Syrinx produced the programme's theme song, "Tillicum," which became a minor Canadian radio hit in 1971.

Robinsonekspedisjonen is a popular Norwegian reality television program debuting in 1999. In the of fall 1998 TV3 purchased the broadcast rights to air their own version of Expedition Robinson. Norway was one of the first countries to adopt the Robinson format following its success in both Sweden and Denmark. While it has never achieved as high of ratings as that of Denmark and Sweden's versions of the show, it is still considered a ratings success. The name alludes to both Robinson Crusoe and The Swiss Family Robinson, two stories featuring people marooned by shipwrecks. Following a two year hiatus after the VIP season with Denmark and Sweden, Robinsonekspedisjonen returned in 2007 and has seen a season over season ratings growth since.
