Overview
Produce 101 (프로듀스 101) is a reality music group survival show on Mnet. It is a large-scale project in which the public "produces" a unit group by choosing members from a pool of 101 trainees from 46 entertainment companies as well as the group's concept, debut song, and group name.

Japanese entertainment conglomerate Yoshimoto Kogyo and South Korean entertainment company CJ E&M will co-produce “PRODUCE 101 JAPAN”, based on the reality television talent competition franchise popular in South Korea and China. This Japanese spin-off follows 101 trainees with the intention of producing an 11-member boy band, with members selected by viewers.

Lame Ducks (en)
Lame Ducks is a British television sitcom made by the BBC in 1984 and written by Peter J. Hammond. In one of the more dark and surreal plotlines, it starred John Duttine as Brian Drake, a man who, when suffering a serious injury after being hit by a truck, can no longer work and decides to head off to live as a hermit. As he goes along, he is joined by various other outcasts, including a woman called Angie. Later, a private detective called Ansell, hired by Drake's wife, locates the group, but as an outcast himself, decides to join them. The show ran for two series.
Thirty Years' War: The Age Of Iron (de)
This documentary drama series tells the story of the Thirty Years War from the perspective of the people who experienced it: like the soldier Peter Hagendorf, the "Winter Queen" Elisabeth Stuart, the famous artist Peter Paul Rubens and the "Grey Eminence" Father Joseph. This visual memory of the 17th century forms the 'archive footage' in the series. Combined with vivid drama and contributions from international experts, the series builds a bridge between "now" and "then" enabling viewers to experience what it was like to live through the Thirty Years' War.

Siu Sau King, who has served three generations at a century-old tofu factory, uses her position as general manager to protect her distant relative, Tou Wai Lung. It draws the ire of the heir, Dau Cheung. Coincidentally, his friend Wong Siu Ming lost his job and broke up with his girlfriend Gei Hiu Ying and is looking for a change. The two of them click instantly and decide to institute major reformsat the company. The new and old camps battle against each other day and night. Wong Siu Ming re-encounters his childhood friend Szeto Nam and vents about his problems to her. Their relationship grows quickly and they begin to think about marriage. But it turns out Szeto Nam's mother is Siu Sau King. Szeto Nam pretends to be depressed to force her mother to agree to her lightning marriage to Wong Siu Ming. But if seeing each other is hard, living together is even harder. After marriage, Wong Siu Ming faces extreme pressure at home and at work. He tries to play matchmaker for his mother-in-law and the tofu factory's boss to deflect the line of fire. Unfortunately, it is a mismatch with many setbacks, leading to a series of jokes...

Together, she and her friend make it through to a finalized group of eight competing for the few opening spots. No one but her friend and her uncle (director of the pop music company) and his assistant know she's a girl. The leader of the boy band, not in the know, starts questioning his orientation when finding himself progressively attracted to this "boy."
