Luo Ran has been investigating the death of his wife with his best friend Ning Yu. They end up getting onto a train headed for C City in order to chase female suspect Jiang Xue. The train suddenly derails mid-journey, and the hundred or so survivors find themselves transported to a ruined city with no living soul in sight, cut off from the rest of the world. The city is filled with dangers on all sides and supplies are dwindling. The survivors start dying off or disappearing one by one—a brutal game of survival begins.

Heavy: The Story of Metal is a four-part documentary special that aired on VH1 in 2006. The series focuses on the origins, subgenres, and the bands of heavy metal music, paying close attention to influential bands like Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, Judas Priest, and Iron Maiden, who helped to define heavy metal in its early years. Other bands on the program include, Alice Cooper, Kiss, AC/DC, Van Halen, Def Leppard, Quiet Riot, Mötley Crüe, Megadeth, Metallica, Anthrax, Guns N' Roses, and Marilyn Manson. However, the documentary notably passes over lower profile metal sub-genres such as death metal, black metal, doom metal, progressive metal, power metal and many others considered core elements of today's metal pantheon, focusing mostly on hard rock & traditional heavy metal. The story of the puppet film begins with Kiscsacsi (whose name is Samu according to the original history of the book) getting to know the wardrobe, the bed, the chair, the chandelier and of course Mirr-Mur. Together they fly, play a naval battle, read a book, or just make friends with Paprikajancs, Bóbice, and Csinnadrata, the lead soldier with whom they discover the poultry farm. Mirr-murr accidentally left the others and ends up in Ödön Slukk's coat pocket. He manages to get out and then befriends Oriza Triznya. The two stray cats stand various rehearsals, help Pál Ploma or join a company called Pintyőke Circus World Number. Further stories will emerge from the series and books.
