Incorporating several controversial cases, The Men of Justice focuses on the perpetual conflict between law enforcement and criminal activities. The series incorporates elements from current events that Hong Kong audience is familiar with. It also includes a battle-of-wits little-known outside the court system, such as how to skillfully use legal procedures, and how to choose members of the jury for important cases. Interspersed between the development of the characters’ relationships are the legal cases, which include: a medical malpractice case; corruption within the police force; a witness failing to help a traffic accident victim, which ultimately led to the person’s death; the death of a wealthy tycoon and the subsequent dispute over his will.

Budgie the Little Helicopter is a series of children's books and animated television series relating to a fictional character 'Budgie' and his friends. The characters were based on the books by Sarah, Duchess of York, who was influenced by her flight training in the Royal Navy. The show was produced by Fred Wolf Films Dublin for HTV and Sleepy Kids Company, and originally aired on British television in 1994 on CITV, then, was aired later on in the United States of America on Fox Kids. The TV Show ran for 39 episodes, and a range of videos, books, and toys were released under the 'Budgie' label. Budgie the Little Helicopter merchandise is now quite rare. On release of the first book, the Duchess was forced to deny she had copied the idea for the series from the earlier Hector the Helicopter book by A.W. Baldwin. The voice of Budgie was originally performed by Richard Pearce.

Hatsuki is a highschool student living with her sister, Hatsumi, who she has a huge crush on. She manages to follow Hatsumi with the help of a being resembling a fat baby chick (literally), ending up in a place called "The Great Library", which is full of different worlds stored in books. Hatsumi wasn't there, though, so the search for Hatsuki's great love begins and involves traveling from book to book.

A detective series centered around a police station in a working-class suburb of a provincial French city (the St. Herblain area of Nantes, to be exact), where detached houses with kitchen gardens rub shoulders with tower blocks. There's no mafia or organized crime, just petty lawbreaking, but it keeps our cops busy. Fights that get out of hand, conjugal disputes, quarrels between neighbors, family tiffs, pick-pocketing, pilfering from building sites, minor trafficking and illegal laborers. And plenty of bodily harm, from the trivial to the extremely grievous and, at times, even fatal. Against this backdrop of everyday lawlessness, the series paints a picture of people's lives when they slip out of control, veering into the comic, the tragic or the absurd.
