First Week In is a documentary TV show on The Discovery Channel which features interviews and overviews about the life of three recently arrested individuals in jail. Most of the inmates depicted in the show are in jail for their first time, earning the aptly named title. The events of the show take place over the course of 7 days, cycling between the three inmates as the show progresses. At the end of the show, there is an overview of what happened to the inmates after the events of the show.

Sorry, I've Got No Head is a CBBC children's sketch comedy. The programme's cast originally consisted of William Andrews, David Armand, James Bachman, Marcus Brigstocke, Anna Crilly, Justin Edwards, Mark Evans, Mel Giedroyc, Marek Larwood and Nick Mohammed, most of whom have also written parts of the show. The first series began in 2008, where sketches included Jasmine and Prudith, who think everything will cost "a thousand pounds"; the Witchfinder General, who calls people witches and witchmen show up to take them away; the Fearless Vikings, who are scared of everything; and Ross from the Outer Hebrides, who has the dubious distinction of being the only pupil in a school with just one teacher. The second series began in 2009 and feature three new cast members; Kobna Holdbrook-Smith, Fergus Craig and Toby Davies. Marek Larwood did not return. New sketches include Embarrassed Louise, who struggles to deal with an unusual problem; an angry Snowman, who battles for equality in everyday life; and a sitcom featuring a family of dung beetles. The show started airing on YTV Canada in late 2009, and season 2 started airing in late 2010.

Way Out was a 1961 fantasy and science fiction television anthology series hosted by writer Roald Dahl. The macabre 25-minute shows were introduced by Dahl's dry delivery of a brief introductory monologue, sometimes explaining a method of murdering a spouse without getting caught. The taped series began because CBS suddenly needed a replacement for a Jackie Gleason talk show that network executives were about to cancel, and producer David Susskind contacted Dahl to help mount a show quickly. The series was paired by the network with the similar The Twilight Zone for Friday evening broadcasts, running from March through July 1961 at 9:30 p.m. Eastern time, under the primary sponsorship of Liggett & Myers. Writers included Philip H. Reisman, Jr. and Sumner Locke Elliott. The premiere episode, "William and Mary", adapted from a Roald Dahl short story, told of a wife getting revenge on her husband. In "Dissolve to Black", an actress cast as a murder victim at a television studio goes through a rehearsal, but the drama merges with reality as she finds herself trapped on the show's near-deserted set. Other dramas offered startling imagery: a snake slithering up a carpeted staircase inside a suburban home, a disembodied brain in a jar, a headless woman strapped to an electric chair, with a light bulb in place of her head and half of a man's face erased.

Pati Patni Aur Woh is an Indian reality television programme. It is the Indian version of The Baby Borrowers. On the programme five celebrity couples were tested in parenting. The contestants were Rakhi Sawant and Elesh Parujanwala, Apoorva and Shilpa Agnihotri, Gaurav Chopra and Mouni Roy, Gurmeet Choudhary and Debina Bonnerjee along with Sachin Shroff and Juhi Parmar.

An old bottle has found its way into the household of a modern family, which consists of a boy named Kan and his parents. A genie, Hakushon, and his daughter, Akubi, reside inside it. When Kan finds the bottle, he discovers that a sneeze summons Hakushon and he must grant the wish of whoever sneezed, while a yawn summons Akubi and she must do the same for whoever yawned. Getting wishes granted by either genie may not be a good thing, for Hakushon messes them up due to his own extreme clumsiness, while the more capable Akubi likes to cause mischief by twisting their words and meanings so that something bad happens.
