Although he is the child of his father’s mistress, he has been raised as the second son without prejudice. Lantern hill is the same house that they used for Green Gables, it's just painted orange. Many of the actors and actresses from Anne of Green Gables, Anne of Avonlea, and Road To Avonlea made appearances in this film.

The one who finds her and helps her is doctor Benjang, who takes her home. She starts living as his sister.
