Testigo is a regional news program aired over GMA-5 Davao. The newscast airs every weekdays before 24 Oras. And also simulcasts on DXGM-AM. Its main newscaster is Tek Ocampo. Tek started with Testigo in 1999 and made a name as a national reporter for GMA News when he left the show in 2002. After his stint with GMA Manila, he came back to Davao to anchor the program once more. It covers the entire Davao Region, SOCCSKSARGEN, CARAGA, Central Mindanao and ARMM.

Sato Ikuo is a houseman who works for the internal medicine department. Not wanting to burden his mother, who brought him up as a single mother, he obtained a scholarship from a nearby public university and enrolled in its medical faculty. After that, he met Kaede, the only daughter of Kawamura Kozo, the president of Kawamura Memorial Hospital. They got married and he was adopted into the Kawamura family. He is completely indifferent to the many sarcastic and caustic remarks that are aimed at him by Kaede’s aunts and cousin, and lives detached from the ongoing inheritance battle. But that does not mean Ikuo is a timid man. He has no interest in the power struggle in the hospital, career progression and opening his own practice. His dream is to be involved in medical care in remote places overseas and he focuses on training as a houseman every day.

Degrassi High is the third television show in the Degrassi series of teen dramas about the lives of a group of teenagers living on or near De Grassi Street in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It first aired from 1989 to 1991 and followed the young people from The Kids of Degrassi Street and Degrassi Junior High through high school. The show was filmed in downtown Toronto and at Centennial College. Much like its predecessor, Degrassi High dealt with controversial issues ranging from AIDS, abortion, abuse, alcoholism, cheating, sex, death and suicide, dating, depression, bullying, gay rights, homophobia, racism, the environment, drugs, and eating disorders. The show's impact on Canadian identity is discussed in the September 2007 issue of u're Magazine.
