Thus begins the howl-some and howl-arious story of two normal humans; an adorable wolf; a cheerful koala; a sluggish, blonde sloth; and a feline with cattitude in their newfound club—in a story that teaches that friendship can be forged by creatures of different kinds.

Spoons was a comedy sketch show first broadcast on the United Kingdom's Channel 4 from 30 September 2005. In the United States, Spoons is broadcast on BBC America. The relationship themed show combined recent trends in sketch shows — dark content, strong language, and recurring catchphrases. It was produced by Endemol owned production company, Zeppotron. Channel 4 didn't recommission the show for second series due to low ratings and bad reviews. The programme appeared at around the same time as two other similar sketch series based on relationships - Five's Swinging and BBC Three's Man Stroke Woman.

Alif Laila is a TV series based on the stories from The Arabian Nights. It was produced by Sagar Films. It was made in two seasons. The first season was aired on DD National and the second SAB TV. Later, it was also aired on ARY Digital, BTV, and ETV. The Series starts right from the very beginning when Scheherazade starts telling stories to Shahryar. Alif Laila contains both the well-known and the lesser-known stories from One Thousand and One Nights which are mentioned here. Actual word is "Alf Laila" meaning thousand nights.

The story revolves around a highschool boy named Niwa Makoto. He lives with his aunt's family since his parents are away on business. It is there where he meets his mysterious cousin of the same age Touwa Erio — who happens to tie a futon mattress around her upper body and is a self-proclaimed alien. Her staple food is pizza. Erio had been missing for half a year and was found floating in the sea. She doesn't remember anything about what happened during that period of time, but she began to think that it was the act of an alien and wanders the neighbourhood wrapped in the futon.
