TriBeCa was a television drama anthology series created by David J. Burke and co-produced with Robert De Niro and Jane Rosenthal for TriBeCa Productions in 1993 that aired on the Fox Network. The series theme song, "Keep It Going," was performed by the alternative hip hop artist Me Phi Me. For his performance in the lead role of Martin McHenry in the season opener, "The Box," Laurence Fishburne won a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Drama Series. Noted for attracting “actors, screenwriters and directors of uncommon quality,” and set in New York City's lower Manhattan neighborhood of TriBeCa, the series was aired by the Fox Broadcasting Company. The stellar casts, with series regulars Philip Bosco and Joe Morton, included Eli Wallach, Kevin Spacey, Kathleen Quinlan, Melanie Mayron, Judith Malina, Carl Lumbly, Richard Lewis, Carol Kane, Debbie Harry, Dizzy Gillespie and Danny Aiello III. Directors and screenwriters included David J. Burke, Hans Tobeason, John Mankiewicz of the prolific Mankiewicz family, Barry Primus, Bryan Spicer, Jeffrey Solomon and several actors in the series, among others.

Wong Tin (Adam Cheng) is a wealthy businessman in Hong Kong. Although he is honest and righteous, he is framed by a business rival. Pau Man-lung (Ekin Cheng) is a ICAC agent tasked with investigating the case. Mutual respect soon develops among Wong Tin and Man-lung. After Man-lung loses his job, he start to work under Wong Tin with his best friend Poon Long-ching (Roger Kwok). Although Wong Tin is a successful businessman, his personal life is not in good shape. He is divorced and his eldest daughter Wong Lui (Amy Kwok) resents him. Wong Lui develop feelings for Man-lung after her mother died in a car crash. 999 is a British docudrama television series presented by Michael Buerk, that premiered in 1992 on BBC One and ran until 2003. The series got its name from the emergency telephone number used in the United Kingdom. In the first series, each episode included two reconstructions of real emergencies, using actors and occasionally Buerk himself, as well as some of the real people involved in the emergency. By the second series, episodes of 999 included more reconstructions. While recreating an accident for an episode in 1993, veteran stuntman Tip Tipping was killed in a parachuting accident. In 2002, it was announced that the series had been cancelled.
