7.0Most Shocking Celebrity Moments of the 80s(en)
Looking back to the 1980's at the celebrities in the press and on television for all the wrong reasons doing all the wrong things. It doesn't matter whether what they did was embarrassing, stupid, ridiculous, career ruining (or sometimes boosting), dangerous or illegal, they were all caught and filmed or photographed, and we will never forget them. Narrated by Isla Blair, with contributions by Simon Donald, Russell Grant, Christine Hamilton, Lauren Harries (also as James Harries), James King, and Michael Winner. These moments included It's a Royal Knockout, Rob Lowe's sex tape, Boy George's heroin problems, Drew Barrymore's childhood meltdown (including taking drugs at a very young age), the many mistakes at The Brits 1989 and many more. Good!

Amina Handke adapts the 1967 theatre play Kaspar written by her father Peter Handke. Instead of a young man being tortured by language, we meet an old woman played by the director’s mother, Libgart Schwarz, who loses her linguistic abilities while rehearsing for the very same play. What begins as a pure and playful family meta-fiction turns into a surreal, partly nonsensical Babylonian confusion, it’s just that it’s not different languages that are clashing but layers and fragments of the German language, the language of the father. The film avoids the traps of representational cinema. It’s all noises and muttering, injunctions and an almost Dadaist pleasure in repeating sentences until they completely lose their meaning.
