In 2003 this animated video of four adorable singing tough-skinned terrestrial mollusks went viral. If you listen closely you’ll probably be able to recognize the audio by a pretty famous quartet from a rather iconic movie.This is one where you should open up all the windows, “crank up” the volume, and let yourself FEEL the strength of these voices while you enjoy the visual eye candy.

Actually, they are attempting to avoid the draft but when their plane, the Buzzard, fails miserably, they march off to war. Richard Fiske, formerly a busy supporting player in Stooges comedies, appears courtesy of stock footage from the earlier Boobs in Arms (1940). Ironically, Fiske had himself been drafted and would be killed in action in France in August of 1944.
