The seasoned vampire Count Darlak returns to his castle after a century-long absence. He has a wonderful appetite, and soon people start disappearing and dying. And only the count's servant, a man named Adam, remains alive and well. Although his only desire... is to become a vampire himself. Adam is a shipwreck victim.
