The history of the Argentine railways, from 1857 until the crisis of the current transport system. The closing of branches of the railway lines turned towns whose main source of work was the train into ghost towns. The privatization of the lines caused the dismissal of tens of thousands of workers as well as the deterioration of public service, causing in turn the increase of motor transport and the multiplication of automobile accidents.

Director Satoshi Sato, who also wrote the screenplay for his debut film, makes the surrounding characters work effectively, such as the neighbor who acquiesces to his wife who brings a man into his home, and finely depicts the passing and rebirth of a married couple. Kimie (Sawaki Mayumi), who married a monster suit actor, works at a boutique to support her household in place of her husband, who is unable to work due to heart disease. While Kimie, who loves her husband and is in love with a salesman, is unable to disclose her pregnancy, her husband finds out about her affair.
