The Imjin War reaches its seventh year in December of 1598. Determined to destroy the enemy once and for all, Admiral Yi leads an allied fleet of Joseon and Ming ships to mount a blockade and annihilate the Wa army. However, once Ming commander Chen Lin is bribed into lifting the blockade, Wa lord Shimazu Yoshihiro and his Satsuma army sail to the Wa army's rescue at Noryang Strait.

Would-be writer Ryunosuke Chagawa is still living across the street from Norifumi Suzuki and his auto repair shop, though now he shares his home with Junnosuke, an orphan he's taken under his wing at the urging of pretty Hiroi, who continues to manage a nearby tavern. Chagawa dreams of publishing a successful novel and settling down with Hiroi and Junnosuke, but his day job running the candy store keeps him busy, and Hiroi mistakes his tight schedule for a lack of interest in her. Hiroi has also embarked on a secret career as a burlesque dancer, which isn't doing much to improve her opinion of men. At the Suzuki household, seven-year-old Ippei isn't happy to be sharing the house with a guest, his distant cousin Mika who is the same age but far more demanding. Mutsuko, the apprentice female auto mechanic, is still staying with the Suzukis, and she's becomes the object of the affections of Takeo, a downbeat young man who is studying cooking.

The industrialist Apostolos Lampirikos is drowning in debt. All were asking borrowed, but none of the return. From this predicament is to get him his employee, Costas, with a trick. Kostas proposed to his boss ... to "commit suicide". The Lampirikos, with a large stone tied around his neck, supposedly falls overboard and the truth Kostas him and sent a photo. their accomplices to fraud, wife of Apostle Flora and his daughter Alice. Kostas closes his boss in a shack in the yard of his house, where he comes only with password hitting a bell. The supposed death of Lampiris made headlines in newspapers and creditors stop pressuring him, debtors pay and orders go much better. Finally, the "shoe Lampiris' survives. Things get complicated, however, when one supplier seeks to marry the widow Lampiris, but cunning Kostas "resurrects" Tolis wins and Alice, for the sake of which also did what he did.
