The two orphans live by wandering and committing petty thefts and robberies, almost for fun. The agreement between the two is not perfect, because there is someone who would like to go back. But the game will become more and more serious and will lead them to death. A small example of independent and courageous Italian cinema. The structure is that of a road movie (the place crossed in this case is Molise), but the directors focus above all on the humanity of the characters, lingering on their faces.
