Hanklin Purvis enjoys the outdoors, and he loves to hunt. He and his wife, Dorothy, live on a farm in the rural mid-west. For some reason, during the season before autumn, things start happening. The first victims are family pets, then wild animals. But it's not until people are injured that the police get involved. The attacker is not human, that's for sure and it needs to be stopped. Then they discover that the wounds have a deadly bacteria and the clock is ticking for those infected. Can I Borrow a Light?(ko)

A thoughtful young man ambles around the Han River, providing an expansive setting for his contemplations. During a telephone call on the Jamsu Bridge, connecting the districts of Yongsan-gu and Seocho-gu in Seoul, he discovers his umbrella has been lost by the girl he lent it to, and judging by his disappointed reaction, we can see he is hurt at being forgotten. Another lost soul is on this bridge, a man with a guitar asks for a light and a song. Soon the young man’s problems are put into context, when arguments about umbrellas seem to fade into meaninglessness.

Perhaps, for the first time on our screen, doctors reflected on the value of human life, talked about their experiences caused by the death of a patient, about the imperfection of Soviet medicine, the lack of knowledge and responsibility of doctors. For forty years, medicine has made an incredible breakthrough, but the moral problems that plague doctors have remained the same. “You can’t get used to death” is the leitmotif of the paintings, old and new. The film was awarded as the Best Non-Fiction Film at the Russian Film Festival "Window to Europe" - 2016.
