Vijay Kumar (Jeetendra) is an orphan brought up by an Advocate Chaudhary Kailash Nath (Kader Khan) and becomes a lawyer himself. He is in love with Sadhana (Sridevi) Kailash Nath's daughter and both get married. Vijay wants to stand on his own feet but is discouraged by his wife and father in law.
