A look at adult book stores, grindhouses, strip joints, "Figure Model Photography Studios" and midnight pool parties. This is more cynical sexploitation from director Lee Frost and producer Bob Cresse, the loveable hucksters.

After his study tour abroad, Simándy Pál, the Protestant pastor, returns to his homeland, Transylvania. In the church of Magyargarabó which lacked a priest for a long time, the bells are ringing again. The young priest devotedly serves his vocation in the village which becomes more and more Romanian. He falls in love with Florica, the daughter of the Orthodox pope. The girl returns his love. In the novel, the lovers are torn apart, as the pope is the paid spy of the Romanian anti-Hungarian League, but the film has a happy ending: Simándy and Florica unite in happiness. The film was originally produced in 1916 and presented in 1922 completed with some film and stage scenes.

Hardwell, a young engineer, running a new railroad through a tough western section, falls in love with Bonita, daughter of Jim Collins, a wealthy ranchman. Haligo Laderez, a wealthy Mexican, also has his eye on Bonita. When he sees that Bonita is favoring Hardwell, he invites the gang of Mexicans working for Hardwell to strike for more money. They are refused, so Haligo sets about capturing Hardwell, who has escaped and is on his way to the sheriff. As he is making his way through a narrow railway cut, Hardwell is hemmed in at both sides by Haligo's men, so he takes refuge behind a barricade of rocks. Unable to get at Hardwell, Haligo places a can of gun powder in front of the rocks and lights the fuse. Just before the flame reaches the can, Bonita and the sheriff arrive, putting the Mexicans to flight. The next day Bonita's father agrees to let her become the wife of Hardwell.
