Freddy's Return: A Nightmare Reborn(en)

As a child, Kevin was kidnapped by Freddy Krueger before Freddy was killed by a mob of angry parents. Although he was rescued by the detective that arrested Krueger, he was left scarred emotionally and psychologically. 13 years have passed, and Kevin's family has moved back to Elm Street, stirring up Kevin's darkest memories. A weakened, desperate Freddy, trapped in the dream world by his mother, a nun named Sister Mary Helena, following the events of Nightmare 5 has caught Kevin's scent, the one that got away.

Two Neds are harassing a drunken 'jaikie' and an inebriated resident confronts them. A stand off takes place until one of the Neds shuts a young boy in an abandoned fridge. They leave but threaten to return and burn down the tenement. The residents try to open the fridge but are unsuccessful. Panic initially sets in as they fear the young boy will die.

It has a very strong tourism structure and the government gets a lot of money with its magical attraction. But despite its grandiose splendor it is an endless gray zone as well. It oscillates between tradition and modernity, between the cattle in the country and the slums in the city. It shuttles from colonial times, land property reform to minimum wage for everyone. It fluctuates between socialism and cold calculated market economy.
