The Hour of Blue Elephants(cs)

Two days before Christmas. Zuzanka and Tomás, friends from a kindergarten wander off during a walk. They admire toys and decoration in shop-windows. Zuzanka shall receive a sledge as a Christmas present and Tomás even a desired little brother. At a shooting gallery Tomás aims at a target on the trunk of a blue elephant which can call in Christmas. The impatient Zuzanka pushes to her friend and he shoots directly to the elephant's red eye. Things which the owner of the shooting gallery warned about happened: the sun popped on the sky, the snow melted and all Christmas shopping has stopped. Both pushful children decide to get a new eye for the elephant so that everything can be set right.

Surya is the son of a local don, and studies at the Chengalpet Matriculation School. His mother who is separated from her criminal husband wants him to grow up as a model citizen. Surya who is attached to his mother gives a promise that he will not take the path to violence again, and is admitted to the up market Lake View School in Ooty, described by its principal as the "Best School in south Asia". Surya is looked down by his snooty seniors led by Rohit and his gang. The only person who stands with him is Babloo, and the principal's daughter Tanya who has a soft corner for him. Under extreme provocation, Surya keeps his cool as he tries to live up to his mother's expectations. However he breaks down after Babloo is murdered, and goes on a revenge spree. The film ends on a tragic note, as the message of the film is conveyed.

This year's Slivis Slough Queen Beauty Pageant is fast approaching and Muffy Fairlane is a lock to win. However, Muffy doesn't want any of her friends to come in last so she enters Phyllis in the pageant. The plan works and also provides the girls with some opportunities to embarrass Phyllis in front of the whole school. As if that isn't bad enough Elizabeth McKay thinks she could've won it all if it wasn't for her allergic reaction the Phyllis' cat. So the girls decide to dispose of the feline. That turns out to be the final straw which sends Phyllis on a murderous rampage to eliminate the beauty queens one by one.

After the liberation in 1946, in a village in western Macedonia implemented collectivization farms. The President of the rural cooperative Stamat, former fighter, who with all their revolutionary zeal and enthusiasm believes collectivization only way for poor farmers. In doing so, he faces resistance from wealthy farmers who can hardly be separated from the property. In contrast, Stamat faced with the decision of the Committee, the mountain that provides a livelihood and that villagers consider her to be assigned to the Wood Industry. His attempt to change this decision, there is no success. He feels that his revolutionary ideal betrayed. In these circumstances Stamat faced with the fact that the villagers do not trust him, but nevertheless he stands on the right side.
