
Paglir Prem is a melodramatic film about a girl, Chobi, who is psychologically challenged. Her father, Rashid Master is eager to get her married to his friend's son, Raja, as a part of a promise made by both friends a long time ago. However, the friend's wife averts from this decision upon witnessing the mental state of Chobi, leading to mental distress of Rashid master. He later becomes assured as Akash Khan, a prominent businessman takes the duty of treating Chobi back to normal, for which he brings her in Dhaka. Akash gives Chobi all kind of treatments, transforming her to participate in a beauty pageant, while also both falling in love with each other. Meanwhile, Raja loses his mind because of his mother's decision, falls in drug abuse, and swears to marry Chobi at any cost.
