Welcome to the post-apocalyptic world of "Walther", an intense and moving film pilot about loneliness, the will to survive, and the power of humanity. Walther, a solitary trucker, navigates a desolate landscape where survival is anything but guaranteed. His only connection to the old world is a nostalgic schlager radio station that offers him comfort in isolation. But when a radio announcer desperately calls for antibiotics—a resource Walther has in abundance—he faces a decision that could change his life forever: Should he remain trapped in his solitude or risk stepping out to help others and rediscover his own humanity?

Kalidasa leaves his verdant mountain valley home for the splendour of far off Ujjain, where he wins fame. The action of the film is rooted in the village to which Kalidasa returns years later and finds Mallika married to Vilom and the mother of his child. Mallika sacrificed her love so that the poet could pursue his muse.
