Terpsichore is a captivating exploration of dance as an art form, illuminating the passion, discipline, and vulnerability that transform movement into poetry. The documentary follows three distinct yet interconnected artists: Cece Trapani, an Irish dancer; Aurora Maur, a burlesque performer; and the Dayton Contemporary Dance Company (DCDC), a renowned contemporary dance ensemble. Through their stories, Terpsichore reveals the universal language of dance—one that transcends genre and speaks to the depths of human emotion. Lilith and the Body(cs)

Lilith and the Body is a short feature film based on the story of Lilith, a taboo figure from mythology and, according to biblical interpretation, the first woman of Eden. The film works with the theme of trauma, ambivalence and finding inner strength, taking this myth and presenting an alternative continuation of it surrounded by a surreal landscape. After escaping from the Garden of Eden, Lilith finds herself on a new, unknown planet, where she gradually encounters several mysterious figures during her journey.

Divided into eleven fragments of different lengths, the film starts from physical violence to arrive at the mystery of life and death, the enigma that accompanies Valdoca’s works.

Boulez-Répons(xx)

In this vivid transposition of contemporary music for television, Cahen "responds" to the complex musical transitions of Répons, a work by French composer Pierre Boulez. Performed by the Ensemble InterContemporain and conducted by Boulez, the intricate Répons was designed for an ensemble of twenty-four musicians, six soloists and a "real-time" digital processor. In Cahen's re-composed interpretation, he responds with visual and temporal transformations, "opening" the images in space and time and applying electronic techniques to engulf the instrumentalists in ocean, sky, and trees. Mirage-like superimpositions, temporal shifts, mirroring effects and de-synchronization result in a rhythmic confluence of the illusory and the real. Immersing the viewer in image and sound, Cahen mirrors the transformative process of Boulez's music.

Milk in its symbolic and ancestral dimension is the fulcrum of this short film. Primary source of female nourishment, abundance and life, milk flows, is drunk, steeps and nourishes. The woman-mother is its dispenser, the one who safeguards its vital power. The color of milk, however, also recalls male seminal fluid and the dimension of the sensual exchange between man and woman.
