
A Flower in Wasteland(1961)
A Lost Persian Film. "Iraj", who is suffering from a mysterious and unknown disease, believes that he is about to die. In the meantime, he meets a young girl and they both fall in love with each other. The girl is the mistress of a wealthy man who is Iraj's uncle. Despite his great love for the woman, the man allows the intimacy and affection between him and his mistress to grow due to Iraj's special circumstances. Iraj soon realizes that the symptoms of his fatal illness have resolved and the girl is the woman his uncle is interested in. He therefore withdraws himself, but the uncle, who is concerned about his niece's well-being, once again proves his devotion and removes himself from Iraj's and his beloved girl's lives forever.
