A unique film project for all football fans. Jozef Vengloš has coached on three continents, holds the prestigious FIFA Ruby Order award and was the first foreign manager to work in the English league. Jozef Vengloš has finally received the honour he deserves. The film documentary Joe the First pays respect, reverence and gratitude to the exceptional coach for everything he has done for Slovak, Czechoslovak and European football. The film features football legends Sir Alex Ferguson, Arsène Wenger, José Mourinho, Roy Hodgson and UEFA President Aleksander Čeferin. The Czechoslovakian legends recall his refinement, achievements and humanity and admit that he was ahead of his time. The documentary makers focused on the almost forgotten fact that he was the first foreign coach in the cradle of football, as he accepted the challenge of being manager of Aston Villa FC.
