TREASURE BOXING 8 took place on May 20, 2025, at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo. Undefeated Subaru Murata defended his WBO-AP Super Bantamweight title against ex-world champ Yoshinori Oguni. Murata, a 28-year-old knockout specialist, faced the seasoned 36-year-old Oguni in a 12-round clash of power versus finesse. Held at the iconic Korakuen Hall, the event showcased Japan’s boxing talent, with Murata aiming to cement his rise and Oguni seeking redemption in a pivotal super bantamweight showdown.
