A desolate, ghost-ridden Cambodian island, once a thriving village, now abandoned except for the temple and its dying abbot
Overview:
A devoted Buddhist monk returns to his abandoned hometown to care for his ailing abbot, the last living resident on an island haunted by Preta—cursed spirits of the forgotten dead. As the ghostly whispers grow into chilling wails, he discovers the spirits are no longer seeking merit but vengeance. To prevent them from consuming the living, he must confront his own past and make an unthinkable sacrifice.
