This short film, built around a randomly chosen name and composed of scenes shot within a single room over the course of three hours, features an introspective monologue that was shaped and adapted during the editing process. The narrative aligns closely with the emotional tone and visual rhythm of the piece, particularly in harmony with the non-original music selection, Maggot Brain by Funkadelic.

Can I talk to you for a second? What if someone promises to tell you the truth? Would you believe them? A short film following a burnt out call worker, a thunderstorm, a haunted VHS and an event that changes their very idea of the truth. Mono was created by St Ghosty Creatives in 2026 following funding for their 'New Immersion' programme of work exploring immersive and technical exploration in performance and media. (Content warnings - reference to self-harm, reference to mental health and flashing lights.)

Final Approach(en)

Final Approach deals with the mental condition of Amnesia when a stealth test pilot, Col. Jason Halsey, is involved in an air disaster. A psychiatrist Dr. Dio Gottlieb attempts to help Halsey to recover his memory, but his motives seem strained. Is Gottlieb giving professional help or is he a counter-intelligence agent sent to debrief Halsey?

The Concrete Road(en)

The Concrete Road is a three-channel installation work which was premiered during the Graduation Show 2021 at Gerrit Rietveld Academie. "Landscape shifts, unmodernised desires. This is a story comprising three avatars of myself talking to and interviewing each other, reflecting on memories and weaving a path on coming of age. Sticky childhood memory which never fades. Loosely fitted gender/racial identity struts in juvenile cravings. Self-loathing, negation of the past, and his frowning parents. The tyranny of modernism leaves a leaky path for the protagonist to escape and slobber in a dream of wet summer night. My highest appreciation towards Bertien van Manen, who not only provides images on memory bubbles, but also her images help me to develop the initial script for this work."
