The monodrama is based on Alojzy Lyska's text “Jak Niobe.” Hanka Jonakowa, a Silesian born near Pszczyna, spins a tale in which personal experiences are intertwined with great historical events, almost always signifying fear and suffering. The show is inspired by the history and culture of Silesia. Performing in the main role, Grażyna Bułka won the Złota Maska award in 2017 in the best female role category for her performance. It is the acting that is the main strength of the show.
