Dong-ju (32 years old) has been preparing for the civil service exam for over 8 years, but he fails each time. Even in the year he thought was his last, Dong-ju is at a loss as he doesn't know what to do next. Dong-ju feels that even the worries and attention of the people around her are like pressure on her and leaves Seoul as if she were running away. Dong-ju looks back on his life as he reunites with his past ties and meets again by chance.

Valdis Nulle is a young and ambitious captain of fishing ship 'Dzintars'. He has his views on fishing methods but the sea makes its own rules. Unexpectedly, pretty engineer Sabīne is ordered to test a new construction fishing net on Nulle's ship and 'production conflict' between her and the captain arises...

The Bloody Hands of the Law(it)

When a crime boss is murdered while in hospital, a young woman sees the killers, but her room mate convinces her not to tell the police, fearing the consequences. Unfortunately the murderers realize that they have been seen, and kill both women. Catching the killers proves difficult as anyone who knows anything dies in unexplained circumstances. It becomes evident that a large and powerful criminal organization is behind the murders, and that they have links within the police force. It is up to Lt. Carmine to see that justice prevails, using any means necessary.

Coming to the farm in the wake of her aunt's passing, Annie's niece, Hillie, soon learns from reading her diary that Annie actually believed she'd resurrected Buddy. Sure enough, when some of the youths responsible for driving her aunt to suicide show up looking to cause trouble, a mysterious figure in biker gear appears and begins picking them off one by one.
