The friendship between two hooligans is showing cracks as one still thrives on the violent world, while the other tries to escape its empty existence. Raoul thrives on the chaos of the hooligan life, while Anouar searches for a way out of the violence and emptiness. This debut film shows how their friendship is tested when Anouar distances himself, afraid to face his true feelings. Raoul refuses to let go. For him, riled up and high on drugs, instilling fear is the way to command respect. His buddy Anouar, however, is increasingly fed up with the world rife with violence and toxic masculinity.

As the world changes faster than he can keep up, Hades is confronted with the emotional weight of change, loss, and unexpected connection. Inspired by Ingeborg Nienhuis's novella "Schoem or De vaarende Zoltkamper," this short film combines poetic realism with emotional depth. Directors Kashani and Komelizadeh draw on their own intercultural experiences, creating a work that is simultaneously simple and aesthetically daring.

Meet You at the Hippos(en)

Actor Mark Bonnar is on a mission to understand more about the Scottish new towns in which he grew up, exploring the street sculpture made by artists such as his dad in the 60s, 70s and 80s. He discovers why the new towns are there and how they enticed people out of the bigger cities, and uncovers the surprising ways in which public art changed the new towns and the new towns changed public art. Mark's father, Stan, made sculptures that stand to this day on the streets of Glenrothes, East Kilbride and the Scottish new town that never was, Stonehouse. These new towns employed town artists to make artworks in the very housing precincts the new residents were moving into.

Still haven't mastered removal of the rem-jet anti-halation layer (thats all the white 'static' on the film). The film expired about 40 years ago.

Franco-American film pioneer Maurice Tourneur is a forgotten name in cinema history. This film traces the incredible journey of this crucial innovator from Paris to Hollywood. He inspired many of his peers and was also a mentor to some great filmmakers, including his son Jacques. Using previously unseen home movies, this film reveals the private man as well as the inspired artist whose career spanned four decades and two world wars.

This film will show how a small number of those patients attempt to overcome their fears, in order to get on with their lives in the crowded cosmopolitan city that Amsterdam is today.
