Bud and Doyle are a pair of aimless slackers with no real direction in life. While their environmentally-conscious girlfriends are passionate about saving the planet, the two couldn't care less. One day, they accidentally stumble into a high-stakes scientific experiment—a year-long mission in a sealed "Bio-Dome" with no contact with the outside world—and unwittingly become part of the project.

A spacecraft is discovered on the floor of the Pacific Ocean, presumed to be at least 300 years old and of alien origin. A crack team of scientists and experts is assembled and taken to the Habitat, a state-of-the-art underwater living environment, to investigate.

In an earlier film, Playing A Note on the Violin While I Walk Around the Studio (Violin #1), Nauman played a single note on the violin as he walked around his studio. In this video work, he remains in a stationary position while he plays four strings together. (These have been tuned to the notes of the title, as opposed to the normal G, D, A, and E.) The camera is fixed and turned on its side.

Years later, the ship may be destroyed, and a former band member fears that 1900 may still be aboard, willing to go down with the ship.

There is a mystery there and the answer lies somewhere between Bermuda, Puerto Rico and Miami. Hundreds of boats and planes have disappeared in the ocean with little or no trace at all. Most of these cases can be explained quite easily by human error or bad weather. But there are some that defy all explanation. Theories abound on these causes: Aliens, massive gas eruptions and freak waves. The documentary reveals that the boats and planes face a real danger in a triangle, but the true threat is often as strange as the wildest theory.
