The main characters of Shakespeare's masterpieces, heroes of the Greek and Roman eras, the main characters of Japanese manga... But there was one role he had never played. ...is himself. Before he departs, his editor begs to hear about his journey. Before long, his life story begins. Bloom plays out the fragments of her memories as she changes costumes in the colorful dressing room. A large crowd of people, including Nekhlyudov's aunt Ivanovna and his friend Schonbock, have come out to bless the young couple. But news arrives at the party informing Nekhlyudov that the start of a trial in which he has been enlisted to serve as a juror has been moved forward. He leaves Korchagin's residence to fulfill his duty.
