Although Simon and Parimoni had previously acted together in a film titled Ranaplaza , this is the duo's first release. The film was released in Bangladesh on 29 January 2016. The film was a commercial success. Aliraj won the Best Supporting Actor Award at the 41st National Film Awards for his performance in this film
