The disaster had many appalling consequences, both physical and psychological, and affected people all over the world, including in the Balkans. In Macedonia, the Chernobyl disaster affected different people in different ways. The documentary Why Me? Includes interviews with people in Macedonia who have been affected by radiation. The documentary illustrates the negative effects of nuclear energy and shows that its consequences affect people of all ethnicities and religions.
