Elijah, an unemployed actor, has no other choice than to stay a few nights with a retired mechanic, Malum, after his car breaks down in an unfamiliar town. Unbeknownst to Elijah, Malum is an unconvicted killer stalking his next prey.
While on the road to move into his friend's new place, Elijah, a struggling actor, finds himself lost in an unfamiliar town. While passing through the neighborhood his car inconveniently breaks down in front of the house of a retired mechanic and seemingly good samaritan who, as it also happens to be , is a serial killer! Elijah is offered a place to stay for a few nights as the retired mechanic, Malum, fixes the young man’s car. While Elijah stays in the home of a mass murderer, the true deranged and blood lusting nature of the “hospitable” old man slowly becomes clearer as Malum plans for his next victim.

People is a film shot behind closed doors in a workshop/house on the outskirts of Paris and features a dozen characters. It is based on an interweaving of scenes of moaning and sex. The house is the characters' common space, but the question of ownership is distended, they don't all inhabit it in the same way. As the sequences progress, we don't find the same characters but the same interdependent relationships. Through the alternation between lament and sexuality, physical and verbal communication are put on the same level. The film then deconstructs, through its repetitive structure, our relational myths.

Shiva Kapoor (Jeetendra) is an assertive and honest young man and has the tendency to help people in need, which gets him to come to the rescue of a man who was being assaulted by hired goons. Frustrated by Shiva, the goons report this incident to their bosses, Iqbal Supariwala (Puneet Issar) & Nandu Solanki (Mohan Joshi), together they implicate Shiva in a web of lies and deceit and have him arrested and imprisoned. After serving his sentence, Shiva vows to avenge this humiliation, and assumes the guise of a bearded male and calls himself Karma. He gets to meet Dharma (Dharmendra), another young man, who has been the target of Supariwala and Solanki, and together they join forces to combat the gangsters. Unrelated to this saga of vengeance is the story of Dharma's brother, who is in love with the same woman as Kumar (Rahul Roy) is, and a heartbroken Kumar has sworn to kill Dharma's brother and anyone else who dares to stand in his way.
