Mind you is the fourth theater of the Dutch comedian Hans Teeuwen. He performed the show in 2001. The last show was filmed in 2002 and aired on television, the same year that the show on CD and DVD published. It's Teeuwen's most famous and most frequently quoted show. He takes everything on the heel, including racism, blacks, world religions, AIDS patients, women, Jostiband and the Queen of the Netherlands.

After getting fired from his teaching job and dumped by his girlfriend, Jack, a painter, embarks on a soul searching road trip with his dog, Scout. However, bad weather and bumps in the road quickly cause more problems than he can handle. Created in response to a traumatic hate crime, artist, Venus Patel, explores her emotional journey through several archetypes, each of whom perform with an egg. Using the weapon of the assailant, the egg itself becomes a tool with many psychological and symbolic meanings within it. The power of reincarnation, birth, nature, hope while also pointing to the power it has to utterly humiliate and embarrass if used in a certain way. There is an embrace of the absurdity of these performances while still speaking to the deeper subject matter. By placing the outlandish characters into public spaces, they confront a preconceived notion of pushing true queer expression into only hidden spaces or only at night, into the daylight and into the normal everyday experience.

Quickly, the plot is propelled into the near past, the crux of the film gives explanations to the first scene. Indeed, one of the young men, Sacha, continues to face homophobic discrimination when he thought he had escaped it. A hatred that will reach even to the personal effects of the main character. How sad !
