The Heart Thief(en)

Paul Kurt, embittered and disillusioned by war, returns to Budapest and devotes his life to roistering and gambling. He falls in love with Anna Galambos but leaves her when he realizes his unworthiness. She returns to her father, a gamekeeper at the castle of Count Franz, a despotic bachelor whose brothers Lazlos and Michael covet his estate. Disheartened by her shattered romance, Anna accepts the proposal of Franz. The brothers conspire to hire Paul to compromise the girl, but Paul, discovering she is none other than the woman he loves, decides to win her for himself. Paul finally exposes the plot to Franz, and Anna, convinced of his sincerity, is reunited with him after Franz releases her.

Rin-Tin-Tin is saved from the beatings of a trapper by Ed Nolan, a shiftless trapper himself, and 'Rinty" follows Nolan home to his cabin but refuses to enter. Nolan takes him to the home of Mary Mallory, the girl he has failed to win as his wife because of his ways, and in their mutual love of 'Rinty," a new understanding is born and Nolan goes to work.

Jérôme Rocheville, a man "well established in his age," marries a beautiful but incredibly spendthrift young woman. Unable to keep up with his wife's expensive habits, Jérôme attempts to return to his former career as an architect, but he finds no real success. Inspired by Paul Morrissey's cinematographic techniques, this tribute in the form of an experimental fantasy narrates the adventures of Mister Monore in Paris, a sort of guided tour to meet Warholian characters: the Grand Marquis (inspired by Karl Lagerfeld), Butterfly (a young gigolo with a physique reminiscent of Joe Dalesandro). The party he organizes is the occasion to gather all these glamorous guests.
