Kiss(hi)

At a preview theatre, a young filmmaker waits in the hope of getting his new sci-fi drama certified with ‘no cuts’ by the conservative men of the Indian Censor Board. The board finds a kissing scene in the film beyond the duration stipulated by official, orthodox rules. The filmmaker and board members argue, but when they enter the movie theatre to review the film, the laws of physics begin to disintegrate, sending these men into a world of chaos.

J.D., a young man is at an important stage in his life of choosing a life partner.Looking like a plain situation which all youngsters go through, JD is accompanied by an unusual combination of problems, one of a persistent pressure of marriage from his mother and second of the astrological predictions surrounding them. Caught in a fix, JD fights the battle with his three friends, Sandy, Sumit and Deepak who have their own definitions of love. All three friends try different solutions to get JD's life sorted and plan to find a girl for him whom he can divorce. JD in the middle follows all the tricks and plans and ends up meeting Tia, a modern and independent girl who follows her own mind. But much to their surprise, the story unfolds differently and JD finds himself in a larger soup than he had imagined. Between following his mother or his heart, JD is caught in a problem that does not seem to solve.

He gets influenced by the Nationalist Movement in the campus and stops his education in the last year of college. His father is disappointed and feels that Rajan is the one they can depend upon in their old age. Bhanu meets Meena (Shyama), and the two fall in love. Meera's father, Ramnarayan, is the school Principal and is impressed by Bhanu. He decides to get Meera married to Bhanu.

One day Nandu gets into serious trouble with Shantilal, who summons the police, and has him arrested. Kalyani goes to the Police Station to plead with the In-Charge Officer to release Nandu, to no avail. She then goes to Shantilal to try to persuade him to withdraw the charges, also to no avail.

Public Prosecutor Vijay Kumar is the only son of Surinder Nath, who is the DIG of Police. Vijay is quite popular as the only Public Prosecutor to have succeeded in bringing down the crime rate, resulting in the highest number of convictions. He also gets to prosecute Abbas Mohamed Riyaz for killing Inspector Bhagwat and Sukhdev Walia, a former gangster. Abbas is tried, found guilty, and sentenced to be hanged. Then Vijay's girlfriend, Sapna, finds evidence that it was someone else who was responsible for these killings. Vijay agrees to represent Abbas, find the real culprit(s), and ensure that the sentence is overturned. Before that could happen, Vijay is himself arrested for killing a woman by the name of Neena, thus making Abbas' hanging a certainty.
