Lucknow based Mithilesh Shukla, is a regular, nondescript sort of a guy, who has washed his hands off marriage, until his nagging mom and her concerned brother get him to see Veena as a prospective bride. Veena is beautiful, cultured, educated and pretty much everything Mithilesh wants. She is also leggy, a good 6" taller than our hero. This doesn't concern him too much, until he overhears people talk and laugh at his relative lack of stature/looks. Everyday situations, such as driving a scooter, with a tall wife towering from the back-seat, or a fawning doodh-wala (milk-man) delivering milk, become a nagging headache for the insecure Mithilesh. More problems crop up when Veena's good college friend, the TALL, worldly, smart Akash moves into the flat next door, and jealousy consumes Mithilesh, leading him into a quagmire of problems, which threaten to rip apart his life.

Dono (Wahyu Sardono), Indro (Indrojoyo Kusumo) and Kasino (Kasino Hadiwibowo) really want to have a car, but they don't have money. So the arrival of Uncle Dono, Dewo Sastro (Tisna S. Brata), was used to request a car. Unfortunately Dewo Sastro was very stingy, Dono's request was not granted. They don't run out of mind. With the help of his friends, Dono's kidnapping plays were arranged by real villains, Mata Satu (S. Parya) who happened to be an acquaintance of Indro. Criminals ask for a ransom from Dewo Sastro, which is enough to buy a car. But by Mata Satu, the ransom requested is far greater than originally agreed. Dono was even kidnapped real and really would be killed if his request was not granted. But Dewo Sastro still doesn't want to redeem Dono. Forced by Kasino, Indro and his female friends tried to save Dono. Later Dewo Sastro actually presented a luxury car to Dono because he had succeeded in arresting Mata Satu.

After the police officer has passed out, a man in a police uniform shows up, saying that he has been assigned to help them catch the robber. The comedy continues with the arrival of Dono’s grandfather from the village. Dono has lied to his grandfather that he has become a doctor, but the latter knows his bad habits. Then Anita wants to test her boyfriend’s love, and asks Dono to pretend to be her boyfriend during a party. Unfortunately, Dono’s silly acts annoy Anita. When Indro’s food recipe is entered for a competition, which allows only women, Dono is forced to dress like a woman. Dono wins the competition but the prize is anulled once Dono’s identity is discovered. Dono protests by asking to take home the competition food. The committee refuses and a cake-throwing war ensues.
